Eric McClendon, MD, PhD, is a board certified physician who specializes in cardiology and treating cardiovascular disease. He has special interest in transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and structural heart, and extensive experience in cardiac catheterization, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, and nuclear, echo, exercise, and pharmacological stress testing. A native of Jackson, MS, he earned undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees in chemistry from Jackson State University. Dr. McClendon has worked as a clinician educator to student physicians in the division of cardiovascular disease at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medicine and as a staff physician at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson. He joined Baptist Medical Group in 2021.
Dr. Siddarth Reddy is a board certified physician who specializes in the treatment of heart diseases, with a special interest in complex coronary procedures, arterial and venous peripheral interventions, and structural heart procedures such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), MitraClip, WATCHMAN, and patent foramen ovales (PFO) and atrial septal defect (ASD) closures. Board certified in cardiology, nuclear cardiology, cardiac computed tomography, echocardiography, and internal medicine, Dr. Reddy joined Baptist Medical Group in 2021.
Dr. Julius Kato brings over 20 years of clinical experience to Columbus Cardiovascular Care. Board certified in cardiovascular and internal medicine by the American College of Osteopathic Internists, he provides cardiac care and management for adults and teenagers 17 years and above. He specializes in the treatment of congestive heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, cardiomyopathy, coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and adult congenital heart diseases. A fellow of the American College of Cardiology and American College of Osteopathic Internists, Dr. Kato joined Baptist Medical Group in 2018.
